The Support Weighing Module with Elastomer Mount (compression-type load cell assembly) is a precision weight-measurement device installed beneath the support legs of silos, tanks, and industrial hoppers to continuously and accurately measure the total weight of the vessel's contents. The module consists of a compression-type load cell at its core, a top mounting plate for connection to the silo or tank leg, an elastomer mount at the base for shock absorption, vibration isolation, and accommodation of slight structural movement, and a bottom base plate for mounting onto the foundation.

Operation is based on converting the weight force applied by the vessel into a proportional electrical signal: as load is applied to the internal load cell, which is transmitted to the central control system for continuous monitoring of material weight. The elastomer mount's inherent flexibility allows it to absorb structural thermal expansion and dampen the effects of impact loads and environmental vibrations without damaging the load cell. As a result, this device is widely used in industries such as cement, mining, food processing, and mineral processing for silo weighing systems and material inventory control.
